Description
PYRIDOXINE HCl HUONS INJ is an injectable formulation of pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), produced by Huons. It’s designed to prevent and treat vitamin B6 deficiency, especially when oral intake is inadequate or absorption is impaired.
Composition
Active Ingredient: Pyridoxine HCl 50 mg/mL in sterile water for injection
Indications & Benefits
Prevention & treatment of vitamin B6 deficiency (including drug-induced, e.g., isoniazid)
Increased demand (e.g., hypermetabolic states, pregnancy, breastfeeding, OCP users)
B6-dependent metabolic conditions (e.g., certain convulsions, responsive anemia)
Suspected B6-related conditions such as cheilitis, stomatitis, dermatitis, peripheral neuritis, and hangover management

Intramuscular (IM)

Slow intravenous (IV)
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to pyridoxine or formulation excipients; concurrent use with levodopa (it may reduce its effectiveness)
Interaction
Avoid with levodopa; isoniazid and OCPs may increase B6 need
Storage
Store in a dark, sealed container at room temperature (1–30 °C). Protect from light.
Volume: 1 mL amber ampoule, typically packaged as 50 ampoules per box
